After graduating from Medical school in Syria in 2004, Dr. Tony Makhlouf received training in clinical pathology in Damascus University. In 2008 he participated in research in developing vaccines at the University of Iowa. Dr. Makhlouf received his Internal Medicine training at Texas Tech of the Permian Basin. Thereafter he did his rheumatology fellowship at University of New Mexico Health Science Center in Albuquerque. He was both Chief Resident and Chief Fellow during his training. In 2014 he published a research article about carpal tunnel syndrome treatment. Before joining Solar Health Doctors he treated patients in Texas for two years as a Board certified physician in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
